2. COOKIES

A cookie is a small text file that is placed on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. The cookie is placed on your device by the website itself (’first party cookies’) or by partners of the website (’third party cookies’). When you return to the website, the cookie recognises your device by means of a unique identification number and collects information about your surfing behaviour.

There are different types of cookies. We differentiate between the following cookies according to their purposes: there are essential or strictly necessary cookies and non-essential cookies (functional, analytical and targeting cookies).

The Belgian Electronic Communications Act of 13 June 2005 contains a number of provisions on cookies and their use on websites. The law is a transposition of the European e-Privacy Directive, which means that the cookie legislation may be implemented differently in other European Member States. AGROMANAGER is located in Belgium and therefore adheres to Belgian and European legislation on cookies.

3. PURPOSE AND USEFULNESS OF COOKIES

4. TYPES OF COOKIES USED BY AGROMANAGER

We differentiate between the following types of cookies:

Strictly necessary cookies:

These cookies are necessary for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are usually only installed in response to actions you have taken, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling out forms.

Non-essential cookies:

These cookies are not actually necessary for the Platform to function, but they do help us offer an improved and personalised Platform.

Functional cookies:

These cookies allow the Platform to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They can be installed by us or by external providers whose services we have added to our pages.

Analytical cookies:

These cookies allow us to track visits and traffic so we can measure and improve the performance of our Platform. They help us to know which features are most and least popular and how visitors navigate the Platform.

Targeting cookies:

These cookies can be installed by our advertising partners via our Platform. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and display relevant ads to you on other sites.

We use our own cookies on the one hand and cookies from carefully selected partners with whom we work and who advertise our services on their websites on the other.
